Dentsply introduces BIT technology with QuiXfil: Universal Posterior Restorative. Dentsply has taken posterior restorations to a new dimension: QuiXfil Posterior Restorative is designed for fast, economical, long-lasting, tooth-colored restorations.
If the practitioner normally uses composite in posterior restorations, with QuiXfil he will appreciate its rapid polymerization (4 mm layers in 10 seconds), its durability, easy modeling, non-sticky handling and the simple and fast procedure with the Xeno III adhesive.
One of the innovations of this material is BIT (Bimodal Interstitial Technology). This results in a previously unmatched filler load (66% by volume and 86% by weight), lower shrinkage (1.7%), and less wear, with an ideal consistency and non-stick handling for posterior restorations. PFC (Precise Fill Control Technology) provides maximum control over fill size, ensuring an ideal consistency and non-stick handling beyond that offered by current composites. QuiXfil combines a unique system: DCC (Dynamic Light Curing Control), which allows dentists a rapid curing process and the freedom to cure layers up to 4 mm in 10 seconds, with a working time of 100 seconds.
