Protemp™ Crown Temporization Material has impressive overall mechanical strength. Tests demonstrate high compressive, flexural, and tensile strength, as well as high hardness values.
Clinical data shows that Protemp™ Crown can be left in the mouth for up to one year, making it suitable for long-term temporization.
A study evaluating the crown's performance found that marginal quality, proximal contacts, surface roughness, and occlusal wear remained acceptable after six months and one year.
