FEATURES

Heterologous biomaterial composed of pre-hydrated, collagenated cortico-spongious granules of 600-1000 μm, adequately mixed with OsteoBiol Gel 0. These characteristics allow for the avoidance of a hydration phase and reduce the risk of accidental exposure of the material to pathogens during preparation; furthermore, the flexible syringe simplifies graft application at the recipient site.

The granules possess characteristics very similar to those of human mineral bone and can therefore be used as an alternative to autologous bone. Their natural microporous consistency facilitates the formation of new bone tissue in the defect area, thus accelerating the regeneration process. Gradually resorbable, it preserves the shape and volume of the original graft (osteoconductive properties). Furthermore, thanks to its collagen content, the product facilitates blood clot formation and subsequent invasion of reparative and regenerative cells.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

mp3 is available in ready-to-use syringes and can be easily applied without hydration or manipulation. After adapting the material to the shape of the defect, it is necessary to remove any unstable residue before proceeding with soft tissue suturing.

CLINICAL INDICATIONS

Oral surgery and implantology: thanks to its formulation and granulometry, mp3 is ideal as a graft in maxillary sinus lift surgical procedures with lateral access. The application of an OsteoBiol Evolution or Special membrane is recommended to cover the antrostomy. Recovery time: approximately 5 months.
