OSTEOBIOL DERMA 25X25 FINE TECNOSS
Aliquota IVA applicata: 22%
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The Derma membrane can be shaped to the desired form using scissors; subsequently, it must be hydrated for 5 minutes in warm, sterile physiological solution.
Once the desired plasticity has been achieved, it must be adapted to the graft site. It is always advisable to prepare a pocket with a mucoperiosteal flap to stabilize the membrane in the site after suturing the flaps. If this is not possible, the membrane must be secured with a cuff suture that attaches it to the gingival flaps.
CLINICAL INDICATIONS
Graft protection: The Derma membrane is a resorbable collagen barrier to protect and stabilize graft materials; exclusively in this specific clinical indication, it can also be left partially exposed thanks to its excellent tissue integration characteristics.
Soft tissue improvement: If a residual band of keratinized tissue is still present around the teeth or implants, the Derma membrane can be used as an alternative to connective tissue grafting to improve the quality of the adjacent tissue.
Gingival recession: Miller Class I and II gingival recessions can be treated with the Derma membrane to avoid the morbidity and discomfort caused by connective tissue harvesting. It is recommended to completely cover the Derma membrane with the coronally repositioned flap and to avoid membrane exposure. The membrane...
Derma with appropriately rounded corners is also suitable for the tunneling technique.
Estimated resorption time: approximately 3 months.
Advantages
A possible substitute for autologous connective tissue, when clinical indications allow. It avoids the surgical and post-operative discomfort of harvesting tissue from the patient's palate.
