OBF Oral Bio Filter 6pcs Protechno
OBF is a mouth opener connected to the dental unit's suction system that MINIMIZES CROSS-CONTAMINATION in dental practices by absorbing Flugge micro-droplets before they exit the patient's oral cavity.
Cross-contamination is the most significant risk in the dental unit, and studies show it is a leading cause of infection in dentistry among patients and oral health professionals. It facilitates unobstructed access to the oral cavity. It has the basic functionality of a lip retractor which, together with opening the mouth, increases safety by making it difficult for the patient, regardless of reflex action, to spontaneously close their mouth.
OBF is a single-use or single-patient device. It can be disinfected in peracetic acid, dried, bagged, and given to the patient for their next visit. It is not autoclavable.
