OBF is a mouth opener connected to the suction system of the dental unit that MINIMIZES CROSS-CONTAMINATION in dental practices by absorbing Flugge droplets before they exit the patient's oral cavity.

It facilitates access to the oral cavity without obstacles. It has the basic function of a lip retractor which, together with mouth opening, increases safety by making it difficult for the patient, regardless of reflex action, to spontaneously close their mouth.

OBF is a single-use or single-patient device. It can be disinfected with peracetic acid, dried, packaged, and given to the patient for their next visit. It is not autoclavable.
