Slow-release local antibiotic gel containing 14% doxycycline, 140 mg/g, from the tetracycline group with a broad spectrum of activity for the treatment of chronic and aggressive periodontitis in adults with pocket depths greater than 5 mm, as an adjunct to conventional non-surgical treatment of periodontitis.

The product must be stored at a temperature between 2 and 8°C. Shipping is via standard express transport for pharmaceuticals outside the cold chain but in polystyrene packaging or a cooler bag containing a cooling product. Transport protocol agreed with Kulzer GmbH.
