OsteoBiol Lamina 20x40x1mm Soft Tecnoss
Aliquota IVA applicata: 22%
FEATURES
The Soft Cortical Lamina OsteoBiol is made of cortical bone of porcine origin and is produced with an exclusive Tecnoss process that prevents the ceramization of hydroxyapatite crystals, thus accelerating physiological resorption.
After a superficial decalcification process, it acquires a semi-rigid consistency, while still maintaining the typical compactness of the bone tissue from which it originates; the edges are soft so as not to cause micro-traumas to the surrounding tissues. The Lamina Soft can be shaped to the desired form using sterile scissors; subsequently, it must be hydrated in sterile physiological solution.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The Soft Lamina can be shaped to the desired form using sterile scissors; subsequently, it must be hydrated for 5-10 minutes in sterile physiological solution. Once the desired plasticity has been achieved, it must be adapted to the graft site; it must be fixed with bone screws.
In case of exposure, the Lamina should only be removed if there is evidence of a secondary infection, as its consistency allows for complete wound healing by secondary intention.
CLINICAL INDICATIONS
Oral surgery and traumatology: in cases of extensive regeneration with a risk of exposure, the Lamina adapts perfectly to the underlying bone and soft tissues. Implantology: ideal for protecting and stabilizing grafts in two-wall defects or for peri-implant regeneration in aesthetic areas. The Fine model is also suitable for covering the antrostomy. Return time: approximately 5 months.
ADVANTAGES
A product of natural origin, perfectly biocompatible, adaptable to the graft site, it is integrated and partially replaced by newly formed bone.
