FEATURES

The OsteoBiol Curved Cortical Sheet is made of cortical bone of porcine origin and is produced with an exclusive Tecnoss process that prevents the ceramization of hydroxyapatite crystals, thus accelerating physiological resorption.

After a process of superficial decalcification, it acquires a semi-rigid consistency, while still maintaining the typical compactness of the bone tissue from which it originates; the edges are soft so as not to cause micro-traumas to the surrounding tissues.

The Curved Lamina can be grafted without hydration, provided that its shape is pre-adapted to the morphology of the defect.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The Curved Plate should not be hydrated, can be shaped with sterile scissors, and must be fixed with osteosynthesis screws. In case of exposure, the Plate should only be removed in case of evident superinfection, as its consistency allows for complete healing of the wound by secondary intention.

CLINICAL INDICATIONS

Oral surgery and traumatology: in cases of extensive regeneration with a risk of exposure, the Lamina adapts perfectly to the underlying bone and soft tissues. Implantology: ideal for protecting and stabilizing grafts in two-wall defects or for peri-implant regeneration in aesthetic areas. The Fine model is also suitable for covering antrostomy. Return time: approximately 6 months.
