The standard metal brackets are brazed with a special palladium alloy onto a sintered 80 mesh pad to ensure strong adhesion to the tooth with any composite. The bases are anatomically contoured to fit the tooth anatomy well. Brackets with hooks are manufactured using the MIM® (Metal Injection Moulding) technique, in which Leone is a leader. All other types of standard metal brackets are obtained from medical grade stainless steel profiles using computerized machines. The surfaces are rounded and mirror-polished to ensure maximum patient comfort and to facilitate plaque removal. Pre-angulated brackets have a colored disto-gingival identification to simplify application in the mouth. All Leone brackets are supplied in pleasant and ergonomic packaging.
