The OT Vertical is a friction-fit cylindrical attachment suitable for partial dentures and bar connections. The castable plastic pin is used as a parallelometer and, after casting, as a centering pin to connect and balance the denture during insertion, especially when there are no counter-attachment millings. The male metal and female nylon components are available in 5mm lengths, but can be shortened to 3.5mm without affecting functionality. These two lengths facilitate the dentist's replacement of the elastic clip (female).
