Standard metal attachments are brazed with a special palladium alloy onto 80 mesh sintered mesh to ensure strong adhesion to the tooth with any composite. The bases are anatomically contoured to fit the tooth anatomy well. The hook attachments are made using the MIM® (Metal Injection Moulding) technique, in which Leone is a leader. All other types of standard metal attachments are obtained from medical-grade stainless steel profiles using computerized machines. The surfaces are rounded and mirror-polished to ensure maximum patient comfort and to facilitate plaque removal. The pre-inclined brackets have color-coded disto-gingival identification to simplify application in the mouth. All Leone attachments come in pleasant and ergonomic packaging.
