CHARACTERISTICS
Millennium is a new generation alginate which, although belonging to the irreversible hydrocolloid category, possesses characteristics that allow it to be safely considered a superior material.
It is indicated for taking impressions for:
- Removable prostheses
- Antagonists in removable and fixed prostheses
- Temporaries
- Preliminary models
- Partial dentures
- Position impressions
While for a normal alginate, regulations state that detail reproduction should not exceed 50µm, with Millennium, this value reaches an impressive 5µm. It is therefore ideal for any application where detail definition is essential for the success of a prosthesis. It is also particularly suitable for fixed prostheses, as it retains all the strengths of Lascod alginates, while also offering long-term dimensional stability.
DISINFECTION
Impressions taken with Millennium alginate can be disinfected by immersing them in specific solutions, adhering to the times indicated by the manufacturers, without altering the material's characteristics.
STORAGE
The model can be poured up to 168 hours with excellent results. The impression must be stored in a sealed plastic bag (Safe-Lock Bags) without any additions. Do not leave the impression exposed to air or submerged in water.
