It is a chromatic alginate with high dimensional stability and rapid setting.

The color phase indicator aids the preparation of the impression regardless of the temperature and hardness of the water used. Temperature variations that cause alterations in processing times are automatically indicated by color changes.
The color phase indications ensure that the Kromopan alginate is perfectly mixed and that it is inserted into the mouth at the right time.
The purple color indicates the mixing time, the pink color the time for preparing the impression tray and the white color the time for insertion into the oral cavity.
The ultra-fast setting time in the mouth is only 30 seconds.

DISINFECTION

Impressions taken with Kromopan alginate can be disinfected by immersing them in specific solutions, following the times indicated by the manufacturers, without altering the characteristics of the material.

CONSERVATION

If stored in a closed plastic bag (Safe-Lock Bags by Lascod) without the addition of water, paper or moistened cotton wool, the imprint remains unchanged for over 100 hours.
