* Please note: The commutator motor of the Vortex compact 3 L is excluded from the warranty for system-related reasons. It is subject to wear and tear, which largely depends on the frequency of switching on and the selected suction level/performance. The service life can therefore vary greatly depending on the stress, and the average lifespan is approx. 800 hours.
An innovation The new liquid suction function allows for the suction of water and ceramic or zirconium mixtures generated with the water-cooled laboratory turbine. The continuously variable power adjustment and the choice between continuous operating mode or practical automatic start allow adaptation to every individual working method. The motor starts softly and requires only low inrush current for a gentle start of the connected high-performance external electrical device.
Free-Filter-System – Filter cleaning at the push of a button A well-known situation: when vacuuming micro-dusts, the pores of the fine filter and the dust bag or textile filter quickly become clogged. The consequences are:
- Suction power decreases significantly, even if the dust bag is not yet completely full
- The fine filter wears out faster
- It is not possible to fully utilize the maximum capacity of the dust bag The Vortex compact 3 L remedies this with its practical filter cleaning, which is performed at the push of a button. Hold one end of the flexible hose closed with one hand and press the "Free-Filter" system button with the other. Thanks to ingenious technology, air is used to "shake" the fine filter and the internal walls of the dust bag without the dental technician having to open the suction unit and thus without the risk of inhaling dangerous micro-dusts. Pure power In addition to a total connected power of 3600 W (at 230 V) and 2000 W (at 120 V) and an air flow rate of 3700 l/min. or 3200 l/min., the appliance offers a compact design and a net weight of only 10 kg. With these features, it allows two users to operate easily and simultaneously. Thanks to its optimized shape, the Vortex compact 3 L takes up very little space and can therefore be conveniently installed in a cabinet (optional 90° angle).
Greater safety The average amount of micro-dusts affecting a dental technician's respiratory system totals an incredible 12 kg of hazardous materials per year. Ceramics, resins, plasters, nickel, and quartz not only cause allergies and intoxications but also the feared dust pneumoconiosis (silicosis). Thanks to the two-filter system and the effective fine filter, the Vortex compact 3 L achieves a high dust removal rate of 99.9%.
