As is known, the post-curing phase is among the most important for the success of the finished product printed in TC85.
The closure of the lattice is in fact essential to guarantee a 100% biocompatible product with the declared physical-mechanical characteristics (e.g. shape memory function ).
14 minutes of post-curing, as per protocol, is the optimal time for the closure of the lattice and for the longest life of the artifact.
Based on the experience of the last few months, since there are many variables in the production of direct aligners that determine the final result, and since a certain experience/learning curve is required on the part of the operator, from a comparison with Graphy we suggest extending the polymerization time to 20 minutes to ensure complete polymerization even in the event of (inadvertent) deviations from the protocol/errors resulting from previous phases.
We underline that this polymerization time does not preclude the achievement of the physical-mechanical characteristics of the aligner nor their maintenance during the duration of use (1 week per step).
