TEFLODENT is the first PTFE (Teflon) tape designed for professional dental use.

0.076 mm thickness, ideal for daily use in the dental office, CE certified and registered with the Ministry of Health as a Class I single-use medical device (maximum retention time in the oral cavity 30 days).

What is TEFLODENT used for?
• Implant abutments: instead of cotton pellets, they do not absorb saliva and/or blood, and are perfectly compressible.
• Screwed-on caps: the white color masks the gray of the through-bolt.
• Toronto Bridge grommets: quickly positioned and easy to remove as they do not unravel.
• Temporary filling of post-endodontic cavities: it does not adhere to canal cements and does not become clogged with burs when removing the temporary filling.
• To isolate teeth during the cementing phase of inlays and veneers: interdental spaces immediately accessible and free of cement residue.
