The Start-X Dentsply Maillefer kit includes 5 ultrasonic tips, each designed for a specific endodontic clinical indication according to the principle ONE TIP – ONE CLINICAL INDICATION. Developed in collaboration with doctors Berutti, Cantatore, and Castellucci.

Clinical Indications per Tip
- Start-X 1: direct access to the canal without damage to the pulp chamber floor
- Start-X 2: removal of dentin obstructing access to MB2 and upper molars
- Start-X 3: removal of obstructions for direct access to the canal
- Start-X 4: removal of metal posts, equipped with a water port
- Start-X 5: flaring and repositioning of the canal orifice, removal of calcifications and filling material
