Ultradent Opalustre Kit
Opalustre is a 6.6% hydrochloric acid viscous paste containing silicon carbide microparticles in a water-soluble base. This combination allows for chemical stain removal with gentle mechanical abrasion. It is used to quickly eliminate unsightly enamel decalcification defects less than 0.2 mm deep.
Ideal for solving problems of yellow-brown superficial demineralization due to fluorosis and for small white spot lesions.
OpalCup bristle polishing cups are used with Opalustre to facilitate a more decisive action and minimize splatter. OpalCup finishing cups are used with Opalustre for micropolishing of the newly treated enamel surface. Both types of OpalCup are autoclavable for a limited number of cycles.
