MTA White 4x140mg PD

PD™ MTA White is an aggregated mineral trioxide cement whose opacifier, calcium tungstate, avoids the staining and discoloration risks sometimes encountered with bismuth oxide. The optimized particle size distribution of its fine hydrophilic particles promotes quick and easy mixing. The short setting time, approximately 15 minutes, allows for restoration without time loss. Moisture does not alter its mechanical properties in any way. Low solubility ensures good sealing, and its excellent marginal sealing capacity prevents fluid migration into the root canal. The cement's alkaline nature provides antibacterial properties, and its hydrophilic nature promotes cement neoformation, creating an environment favorable to the healing of peridental tissues. Furthermore, it stimulates the formation of a dentinal barrier in direct contact with the pulp.
The excellent biocompatibility of PD™ MTA White with the dentinal wall and pulp allows its use for orthograde and retrograde root canal fillings, for the treatment of cervical root resorption, as a pulp capping material, as well as for apexification and pulpotomy of immature teeth in children and adolescents.
