MOOVI UV is an effective air sanitizing device that uses germicidal UV light technology. Studies show that UV-C radiation has a photolytic effect on DNA, preventing microorganisms such as bacteria, molds, yeasts, and viruses from reproducing. The purification effect is achieved with wavelengths below 320 nm; therefore, the germicidal lamps emit light at 254 nm and are ozone-free.

Environmental purification

Ultraviolet (UV) purification is a highly effective method for cleaning the environment of biological contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores. Lighting fixtures with germicidal UV sources are very efficient. The UV tube is not shielded to ensure maximum effectiveness.

UV-C TUBES are classified according to the standard IEC / EN 62471 (photo biological risk): Risk group 3

The radiation from this UV-C lamp poses a health risk. Lighting fixtures with UV lamps are specifically designed for air disinfection in unoccupied areas. In fact, reflections from ceilings and walls, and the presence of free radiation produced by the fixtures themselves, can cause the propagation of ultraviolet waves of sufficient intensity to cause conjunctivitis and erythema. It is necessary to protect skin and eyes from direct exposure by wearing appropriate protective equipment. UV-C lamps cannot be used for general room lighting.
