K3 is a third-generation asymmetric endodontic instrument system. Designed to remove debris quickly, safely, and efficiently, K3 meets technical and operational needs like no other milling instrument.

Variable pitch: Many tools have a constant pitch (distance between cutting threads) along the entire length of the working part. This can cause a "screwing" effect.

The K3 instrument features a variable pitch that efficiently transports debris coronally. This is important not only during initial cleaning and preparation but also for retreatment. Less friction, more stability. The reduced pressure on the cutting threads of the K3's radial surface minimizes frictional resistance. Other NiTi systems have large radial zones that increase friction and can lead to fracture.

K3 tools have added mass to the cutting surface that provides high support to prevent deformation.
