HyFlex™ CM NiTi Files respond to excessive resistance encountered along the path by extending the spirals, which prevents adhesion to the walls and increases their fracture resistance. This shape adaptation can be quickly reversed through heat treatment (during autoclave sterilization or with a quartz sterilizer), returning the instruments to their original shape. Furthermore, this regenerative capacity strengthens the files, making them much more resistant to cyclic fatigue, acting as an indicator to constantly check the degree of wear of the file.
HyFlex™ CM NiTi files with Controlled Memory are up to 300% more resistant to cyclic fatigue (stress) than traditional files, a feature that substantially reduces the risk of file breakage.
HyFlex™ CM NiTi Files can be used with the crown-down, step-back, simultaneous technique or our recommended “single length” technique.
Use a low-speed handpiece at 500 rpm. Recommended torque setting up to 2.5 N·cm (25 mN·m)
Depending on the specific clinical situation, the number of passes (files used) can be reduced to up to 3 files by using the crown-down technique.
