Futar Kettenbach — Thixotropic Silicone for Occlusal Registration
Kettenbach's Futar is a medium-viscosity, thixotropic addition-cured silicone, specifically formulated for occlusal registration. Its final hardness of Shore A 90 ensures a stable and precise registration, which can be trimmed with burs or scalpels to remove excess material. Thanks to its easy removal in the presence of undercuts, it can also be used for border molding of removable prostheses.
What it is
Green thixotropic A-silicone, medium viscosity, with a linear dimensional change of approximately 0.20%. To be used with universal silicone adhesive. Available in two setting variants: Futar (standard) and Futar Fast.
