18% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) solution. Indicated in endodontics for root canal irrigation. A chelating agent that conditions and cleans the canal. Ideal for removing the smear layer, it can be used as a final irrigant before definitive obturation. Does not contain peroxide, which can interfere with the polymerization of resin-based sealants.
