The CAD-CAM anatomical expander, with a design similar to the orthogonal-arm expander, is a device optimized for this particular use: instead of arms, it features 2 longitudinal square slots in the bodies that allow perfect coupling for laser welding with the digitally designed and sintered structure. The reduced size of the body, the exclusive self-centering system of the guides, and the use of a biomedical steel with superior strength characteristics for the guides and the male screw allow optimal positioning of the screw even in cases of severe contraction and promote biomechanical control of the expander even in hybrid therapies with TADs and MARPE in adult patients. The expansion capacity, expressed in mm, the arrow indicating the activation direction, and the lot number are laser-marked on the body.
