The lowest viscosity
Conseal f is the lowest-viscosity sealant. Thanks to its low viscosity, Conseal f can flow faster and deeper into cavities and crevices. The major cause of sealant failure is poor sealing strength. Conseal f has a higher sealing strength, which promotes mechanical retention and eliminates gaps that favor bacterial growth. Marginal sealing with Conseal f is further improved thanks to the lower volumetric shrinkage of its exclusive UDMA resin and the absence of BIS-GMA, which eliminates the problems caused by Bisphenol A.
Fluoride release
Conseal f combines proven SDI sealant technology with an intensive initial fluoride boost, along with long-term fluoride treatment. Conseal f's exclusive filler, with a special particle blend and high surface/volume ratios, allows for high fluoride release. Fluoride promotes remineralization and prevents the onset of caries and enamel demineralization.
Comparison with other applicator tip sizes**
The diameter of the Conseal f syringe and capsule applicator tips is only 0.41mm: significantly smaller than the 1.5 or 1.3mm tips of other sealants commonly in use.
| 1. Clean and isolate the tooth. 2. Etch the tooth surface with Super Etch LV for at least 30 seconds and no longer than 60 seconds. 3. Wash thoroughly with water. 4. Dry the tooth completely. |
| 5. Directly inject or brush on Conseal f pit and fissure sealant.
6. Light cure Conseal f for 20 seconds.
CAUTION: Make sure the applicator tip is securely attached to the Super Etch and Conseal f syringe by screwing it on carefully. |
