Ideal for composite layering, facilitating adaptation and modeling. Useful when the composite surface is too dry, after removing the oxygen-inhibited layer.

- moistens the composite during contouring and modeling
- does not affect polymerization
- preferable to single-component adhesives which impair polymerization
