BRILLIANT Lumina, the revolution in teeth whitening

With BRILLIANT Lumina, Coltene offers an effective, cosmetics-compliant solution for in-office teeth whitening.

For the first time, a formula without hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide for use in the dental office.

BRILLIANT Lumina is based on PAP (phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid), an active ingredient already known as a raw material in various home teeth whitening products. However, for the first time ever, BRILLIANT Lumina manages to highly concentrate it.

The product is therefore effective (exposure time on the teeth of 60 minutes) and is consequently approved for professional use only in the dental office.

BRILLIANT Lumina is an advantage for the dental practice, because:

• it is not based on hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide;
• The active ingredient is PAP (phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid). PAP complies with the EU Cosmetics Directive and can therefore be sold in the European Union;
• it does not generate any sensitivity, neither during nor after the treatment;
• it is gentle on tooth enamel;
• it is stored at a temperature between 15 and 25 °C;
• Expiration: 1.5 years.

Thanks to this feature, tests carried out on the surface of the teeth demonstrate that after treatment with BRILLIANT Lumina the surface roughness values ​​are very low.
