Vicryl V998H – Absorbable synthetic suture

Absorbable, braided, synthetic suture, coated with a glycolic acid and lactic acid copolymer (Polyglactin 910). Available in violet or undyed (white).

Material and coating

Dodecanol, an alcohol family component, has been added during the polymerization process, increasing in vivo tensile strength by 25%. Coated with Polyglactin 370 and calcium stearate.
