RECIPROC® One file endo : canal preparation with a single instrument.
Reciproc® is the system that allows you to completely shape the root canal with a single reciprocal Nickel Titanium instrument and without the use of an initial manual file. The system includes 3 RECIPROC® instruments (R25 for small canals, R40 for medium canals, and R50 for large canals).
Advantages of the Reciproc® system
• Simple to use and learn because a single instrument does the work of the many manual and rotary instruments required to shape the root canal until now. The clinical protocol minimizes the work steps and it is no longer necessary to change instruments in the contra-angle during canal preparation.
• More effective and safer than rotary techniques, because the risk of fracture due to screwing and blocking the instrument in the canal has been eliminated.
• Disposable, suitable for up to one molar and discarded after use. This makes workflow more efficient, eliminating the need to clean and sterilize the instrument and significantly reducing the risk of contact contamination for practice staff and completely reducing cross-contamination for the patient.
• Procedure 4 times shorter than the traditional rotary Ni-Ti technique.
• Centering ability that allows the reciprocal instrument to remain better centered within the root canal than the rotating system.
