Analgesia has been a widely used technique for years in the United States, Canada and several European countries.
The controlled administration of inhaled oxygen and nitrous oxide induces a sense of relaxation, reducing emotional stress, pain perception, and anxiety, increasing patient manageability and facilitating collaboration with the doctor, while maintaining protective reflexes.
It is important to remember that sedation does not produce side effects and has only general contraindications.
Pedodontics
Children are notoriously the subjects who suffer most from the problem of "dental anxiety", which often results in complete non-cooperation.
Dentistry will thus have to face inconvenience and waste of time.
Sedation solves this problem by saving time and making the operators' work easier.
New XS and XXS size masks available for use in pediatric dentistry.

People with disabilities
Some categories of disabled people are often unable to undergo outpatient dental care.
In some cases, sedation radically solves this problem.
Implantology
This widely used technique "forces" the patient to undergo long intervention times, which produce moments of stress, which sometimes result in "non-cooperation". Precisely in key moments, sedation helps to face all phases of the intervention calmly and cooperatively.
Dental phobias and other everyday situations
Dental phobias are widespread, even among adults, and this keeps them away from dental practices. Then there are everyday procedures, such as impression taking and tartar removal, which often cause unwanted problems. Sedation solves all these problems, bringing the patient closer to the dentist. The greatest benefit is undoubtedly for the dentist, who can work calmly, without stress, and save considerable time.
Sedation device with automatic flow control. Master Flux PLUS is the only sedation device entirely designed and manufactured in Italy.
All parts are manufactured by Tecno-Gaz and undergo meticulous individual inspection. To avoid a negative visual and psychological impact on the patient, an elegant cabinet has been adopted that can hold oxygen and nitrous oxide cylinders with their respective reducers and connections. The cabinet is RAL 9002 colored, equipped with wheels, a laminated instrument shelf, and inside there is a compartment designed for 5- and 10-liter cylinders. On the front there is a slot for the flow meter box complete with accessories. Master Flux Plus has passed the stability tests required by the EN 60204 directive.
Master Flux Plus comes with:
• flowmeter box
• breathing control bag
• 1 circuit with autoclavable mask size M
• 1 autoclavable mask size S
• 1 OX reducer with tube and connection
• 1 N2O reducer with tube and connection
The flowmeter box is a sophisticated mechanical engineering design with an automatic proportioner dispensing system.
The mechanical method was chosen because gas management is "direct," and therefore not dependent on other electronic or electrical "controllers." This resulted in a highly precise, highly reliable, and user-friendly product. Easy to use, the Master Flux features technical features that make it extremely versatile, with effective safety devices that absolutely prevent errors and thus negatively impact the patient. The screen-printed design is simple and easy to read.
Security
• Blocks N2O flow when O2 pressure is zero (lack of oxygen)
• Minimum oxygen concentration. Oxygen is always present at a percentage of 30%, thus avoiding the dangers of HYPOXIA and ANOXIA.
• A special valve prevents exhaled gas from returning to the circuit. A special device also allows breathing ambient air in the event of a gas shortage.
O2 Emergency
By pressing the O2 device we block the flow of N2O, delivering 100% oxygen to both the control balloon and the treated patient.

Automatic flow regulation
The system was designed to make flow administration quick and easy. The two knobs allow you to adjust the gas flow:
O2: regulation of the amount of oxygen breathed by the patient in liters per minute
N2O: Adjustment of the quantity of nitrous oxide in the desired percentage from 0 to 70%
The flowmeter box allows you to mix the combined delivery of the 2 gases to achieve patient sedation.
Flow columns
The columns indicating the flows are built to obtain an easy and quick reading of the values.
Power supply connections
The connectors are mounted on the back of the flowmeter box and have multiple connections, to prevent the possibility of confusing the two gas lines. This additional feature increases the safety of the device.
TG wanted to fill the void left by the poor performance on the last mile, producing an "adaptive" circuit with incredibly good performances.
The main requirement of the dentist practicing conscious sedation is to obtain good performance in order to put the patient at ease.
Key aspects are:
1-GUARANTEE THE OPERATOR GREAT CLINICAL ERGONOMICS
2-MAKING TREATMENT PLEASANT FOR THE PATIENT
3-GET QUICK AND EFFECTIVE SEDATION
4-AVOID GAS DISPERSION IN THE ENVIRONMENT
