Anti-snoring devices are oral appliances for nighttime use that, by pushing the jaw forward, can treat snoring by acting directly on the mechanism that produces it. In fact, repositioning the jaw also moves the tongue and epiglottis forward, distancing them from the uvula and thus resolving the vibration of the soft tissues of the palate during airflow, which causes the snoring noise.
MAD devices are also used in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) because they can resolve obstructions in the posterior airways, restoring respiratory capacity during sleep.
The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine states that individually fabricated, bimaxillary devices are more effective, and that, above all, they allow for a gradual advancement of 4-5 millimeters beyond that determined by the initial construction bite.
There are numerous MAD (Mandibular Advancement Device) designs worldwide used to combat snoring and obstructive apnea: we have chosen to create, and improve, the components for those that are most widely used today and that boast evidence of clinical and scientific efficacy.
This is our proposal, in accordance with the requests of each specialist clinician:
