Anti-snoring devices are oral appliances for nighttime use that, by pushing the jaw forward, can treat snoring by acting directly on the mechanism that produces it. In fact, mandibular repositioning also moves the tongue and epiglottis forward, distancing them from the uvula and thus resolving the vibration of the soft tissues of the palate during airflow, which causes the snoring noise.
