Designed with the original PIEZON^® PS NO PAIN technology, the new PIEZON^® PI MAX instrument is the best instrument for non-surgical periodontal treatments on implants, veneers, crowns, restorations, etc. It removes biofilm and calculus supra-gingivally and sub-gingivally up to 3 mm without damaging the surfaces. With its slim and smooth design, the new PIEZON^® PI MAX instrument is handy, minimally invasive, and preventive, ensuring maximum patient comfort.

TECHNOLOGY

The new PIEZON^® PI MAX instrument is the thinnest instrument for peri-implant treatments up to 3 mm. Being as thin as a periodontal probe, the instrument offers maximum accessibility around implant abutments and reduces the risk of pain. With significantly greater flexibility than its predecessor, all sensitive surfaces can be cleaned safely. The instrument consists of a surgical stainless steel holder and a high-tech polyether ketone (PEEK) instrument tip, reinforced with 30% carbon. The special composition of the instrument tip does not damage the implant surface during treatment. Carbon-reinforced PEEK offers the right flexibility and linear movement.

Thanks to its linear movement and dynamic power, the PIEZON^® PI MAX instrument easily removes calculus with surgical precision. Controlled movements ensure consistent treatment results and protect the patient's teeth at all times. In combination with the original PIEZON^® NO PAIN module, the instrument's shape and linear movement offer an effective and comfortable treatment.

TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

Thanks to EMS's original combitorque, the PIEZON^® PI MAX instrument can be securely attached without the risk of damaging the handpiece.

Always start treatment at low power (30%) and increase if necessary (up to 50%). The water setting should always be above 70%.

Once worn, after approximately 20 treatments (equivalent to approximately 3 mm of wear), the instrument tip can be easily replaced thanks to the PIEZON^® PI MAX Tool. The tool helps to check tip wear and replace it if necessary. To maintain high patient comfort and instrument efficiency, wear should be checked regularly. The holder can be reprocessed up to 1,000 times.

The PIEZON^® PI MAX instrument is suitable for all patients with implants, crowns, restorations, veneers, or orthodontic appliances. It is compatible with all PIEZON^® handpieces and original EMS devices.
