NiTi HyFlex™ CM files respond to excessive resistance encountered along the path by extending their spirals, which prevents adhesion to the walls and increases their fracture resistance. This shape adaptation can be quickly reversed by heat treatment (during autoclaving or with a quartz sterilizer), restoring the instruments to their original shape. Furthermore, this self-reforming capability strengthens the files, making them much more resistant to cyclic fatigue and acting as an indicator to constantly check the degree of file wear.

NiTi HyFlex™ CM files with Controlled Memory Effect are up to 300% more resistant to cyclic fatigue (stress) than traditional files, a feature that substantially reduces the risk of file breakage.

NiTi Files HyFlex™ CM can be used with the crown-down, step-back, simultaneous technique, or our recommended "single length" technique.

Use a low-speed handpiece at 500 rpm. Recommended torque setting up to 2.5 N·cm (25 mN·m).

Depending on the specific clinical situation, the number of steps (files used) can be reduced to as few as 3 files by using the crown-down technique.
