Standard metal brackets are brazed with a special palladium alloy onto a sintered 80-mesh pad to ensure strong adhesion to the tooth with any composite. The bases are anatomically contoured to fit the tooth anatomy perfectly. Hook brackets are manufactured using the MIM® (Metal Injection Moulding) technique, a field in which Leone is a leader. All other types of standard metal brackets are obtained from medical-grade stainless steel profiles using computerised machines. The surfaces are rounded and mirror-polished to ensure maximum patient comfort and facilitate plaque removal. Pre-angulated brackets have colour-coded disto-gingival identification to simplify intraoral application. All Leone brackets are supplied in attractive and ergonomic packaging.
