Standard metal brackets are brazed with a special palladium alloy onto a sintered 80 mesh pad to ensure strong adhesion to the tooth with any composite. The bases are anatomically contoured to fit the tooth anatomy well. Brackets with hooks are made with the MIM® (Metal Injection Moulding) technique, in which Leone is a leader.

All other types of standard metal brackets are made from medical grade stainless steel profile with the aid of computerized machines. The surfaces are rounded and mirror-polished to ensure maximum patient comfort and to facilitate plaque removal. Pre-inclined brackets have colored disto-gingival identification to simplify application in the mouth. All Leone brackets are supplied in pleasant and ergonomic packaging.
