ACTIVA BioACTIVE-CEMENT stimulates the formation of mineral apatite and the natural remineralization process at the material-tooth interface, uniting the restoration and the tooth, penetrating and filling micro-gaps, reducing sensitivity, protecting against secondary caries, and sealing the margins against microleakage. ACTIVA responds to pH cycles and plays an active role in maintaining oral health by releasing and replenishing significant amounts of calcium, phosphate, and fluoride. These mineral components stimulate the formation of a connecting layer of mineral apatite, which is an essential requirement for bioactivity and protects the teeth. ACTIVA's patented elastic resin offers greater resistance to chipping and fracture than any other dental cement. It is strong, insoluble, and does not crumble. The cement is dual-cure, moisture-tolerant, and suitable for indirect restorations including zirconia, CAD/CAM and glass-ceramic restorations, ceramic, resin, metal/PFM, implantology, and preformed pediatric crowns in stainless steel and zirconium.
