Modern aligner therapy opens up new treatment options in dental and orthodontic practices. Thanks to attachments, the range of malocclusion corrections and their positive outcomes has increased. Precise placement and shape of the attachments are crucial for successful therapy. With the new AlignerFlow LC, VOCO offers a special UVA-fluorescent composite that optimizes the attachment workflow from creation to removal. VOCO's 20 years of experience with flowable nano-hybrid composites, successfully used in millions of procedures, have led to the development of AlignerFlow LC.

AlignerFlow LC offers excellent adaptation to the model tray, high stability, abrasion resistance, and fluorescence. This fluorescence, visible only when the product is exposed to UVA light, allows for precise control of any excess or artifacts during bracket placement. At the end of the treatment, the brackets must be completely removed to prevent discoloration or discomfort for the patient. In this step, since even the smallest residues of AlignerFlow LC are visible under UVA light, it will be possible to remove the brackets quickly and easily, leaving the enamel intact.

The specific fluidity of AlignerFlow LC allows for precise filling of the model and obtaining an exact impression of the attachments, even in the presence of undercuts. This allows for the identification and avoidance of excess material, which prevents the correct positioning of the model and, consequently, the attachments, and any undercuts, which lead to poor adhesion between the attachments and the tooth surface. Following the application of the bonding agent and photopolymerization directly through the model, the attachments made with AlignerFlow LC exhibit the highest values in terms of adhesion and durability. With a light emission of 1000 mW/ ^cm² , the composite hardens in just 10 seconds.

Reliable force transmission

Thanks to the high filler content of 83% by weight, AlignerFlow LC attachments exhibit greater stability and abrasion resistance. This ensures that the force transmission from the aligner brackets is targeted from the attachment to the affected teeth throughout the entire treatment period. AlignerFlow LC is always processed with an enamel-dentin bonding agent.

In addition to being used for the production of attachments for aligners, AlignerFlow LC can also be used for occlusal structures (in the injection technique) or for the fixation of lingual retainers.

AlignerFlow LC is available in 2 x 2 g syringes in shades A1, A2 and A3 and includes accessories. The application cannulas provided (diameters 0.9 mm and 1.2 mm) allow for individual usage preferences, but can also be used for particularly fine attachments or for the application of lingual retainers on rather large surfaces.
