PERMANENT PMMA DISC 4DESIGN

PMMA discs for CAD/CAM milling of permanent artificial teeth for removable or fixed dental prostheses. Their multi-layered structure and high translucency promote a natural aesthetic result after milling, with stable colors and high wear resistance.

Advantages:

- High translucency for a more vibrant and realistic finish after milling.
- Wear/abrasion resistance and hardness suitable for long-term use.

Available colors and thicknesses:
A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1, C2, BL1, BL2
(14 mm, 16 mm, and 20 mm).

Composition:
PMMA-based acrylic copolymer (>99%) and inert mineral pigments and other non-toxic substances (<1%).
CAD/CAM compatibility and processing:

- Compatible with open CAD/CAM milling systems with 98.5 mm disc and, depending on the system, other formats based on measurements and contours.
- Machining with carbide (tungsten) burs is recommended.
- Consider the orientation of the incisal layer to take advantage of the multilayer effect.

Finishing and polishing
Polish without excessive pressure and at low speeds to avoid overheating. Brushes and resin polishing pastes help optimize brilliance, aesthetics, and reduce plaque retention.
Minimum recommended thickness > 2.5 mm.

Recommendations for fixation and maintenance
- For fixation, use PMMA-compatible adhesives following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Cleaning/disinfection is preferably performed at low temperatures, avoiding high temperatures and aggressive chemicals not recommended for PMMA.
