PMMA DISC BASE PINK 4DESIGN

PMMA discs for CAD/CAM milling of removable or fixed prosthetic bases. Available in two variants, with and without veins, for a natural aesthetic result and stable color.

Advantages:
- High hardness and abrasion resistance, ideal for bases that must maintain shape and finish over time.
- Natural gingival aesthetics with stable shades.
- Excellent stability during milling and easy finishing for effective polishing.

Composition:
Acrylic copolymer based on PMMA > 99% and inert mineral pigments and other non-toxic substances < 1%.

CAD/CAM compatibility and processing:
- Compatible with open CAD/CAM milling systems in 98.5 mm discs and, depending on the system, other formats based on dimensions and contours.
- Processing with carbide (tungsten) burs is recommended.
- Removal of the milled structure using burs or resin discs.

Finishing and polishing:
Polish without excessive pressure and at low speeds to avoid overheating. For polishing, brushes (goat hair, cotton, or leather) and universal polishing paste or fine-grained pumice stone can be used. Proper polishing improves appearance and helps reduce plaque accumulation.
Minimum recommended thickness > 2.0 mm.

Recommendations for fixation and maintenance:
- For fixation/bonding, use materials compatible with acrylic (PMMA) following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Cleaning/disinfection should preferably be done cold: avoid high temperatures and aggressive organic solvents; these can damage the PMMA.
