The Sphero Block direct implant abutment is made of nitrided titanium and is available for all implant brands currently on the market in spherical diameters of 2.5 mm (Normo) and 1.8 mm (Micro) . Nitriding is a treatment that provides a surface hardness of 1600 Vickers. Directional rings allow for correction of inclination up to 14° for each implant. The abutment's function is ensured by the coupling between the sphere and the retaining cap inserted inside the metal housing. The retaining caps are available in different colors corresponding to different retention levels and offer improved retention for overdentures.
