Cement for root repairs.

Directions:

Treatment of perforations (root canals and furcations). Sealing of internal resorptions communicating with the alveolar bone. Retrograde filling in endodontic surgery. Direct pulp capping and pulpotomy (permanent and deciduous teeth). Apexification and apexogenesis. Apical sealing in cases of altered apical anatomy (wide diameters, irregular edges, presence of blood and fluids).

Advantages:

Calcium release; promotes the formation of mineralized tissue, provides biological sealing of perforations, and complete repair of damaged periradicular tissue. The only dental material capable of inducing the formation of new periradicular cement. Can be used in moist environments. High alkalinity: bactericidal. Low solubility. Biocompatible with oral tissues. Adequate compressive strength. Radiopaque.
