For medical whitening with custom-made trays. This method is particularly suitable for effectively treating intrinsic discolorations, such as those caused by tetracycline. After taking an impression, custom-made trays are created, filled with 45% Carbamide Peroxide gel (≈ 15% H2O2), and applied to the teeth. During the application time (approximately 30 minutes), the patient can remain in the waiting room of the practice. The highly viscous gel does not leak out but remains in the tray, whitening the pigmented teeth.
