The OccluSense® portable device is a battery-powered device that uses wireless networking to transmit recorded data and send it to the OccluSense® iPad app.
The various components of the OccluSense® system consist of a portable device, a charging base, 1 pack of 25 sensors and a trial sensor and are delivered in a practical carrying case.
The sensor is 60 μ thick, flexible and coated with red color.
The innovative OccluSense® pressure sensors enable the detection of occlusal pressure conditions at 256 pressure levels. The thin, flexible material of the pressure sensor allows for recording both static and dynamic occlusion.
Additionally, the sensor's red coating marks the occlusal contacts on the patient's teeth.
Portable device. Occlusion conditions are recorded by the portable device with the sensor inserted. The raw recording data generated during the occlusion test is recorded and stored locally on the portable device. The portable device then transmits this data via the wireless interface to the OccluSense® iPad app.
Charging base. Inductive charger for wireless charging. Fully charged batteries allow you to use the device for up to 4 hours.
Ergonomic design. Two control buttons allow for intuitive use. Easy, wireless operation. Compatible with your Wi-Fi network. Use the mobile system wherever you are.
Test Sensor. The included test sensor ensures that the OccluSense® system is functioning properly by performing a daily functional check.
Occlusense is simple to use and uses the same technique as traditional occlusion paper. Recording of pressure conditions.
Static and dynamic occlusion pressure conditions are recorded and stored in the OccluSense® app for iPad.
Recordings or live mode data as well as the occlusal force distribution across the sensor zones can be displayed in 2D, 3D or a combined view.
