The Rhein83 castable OT UNILATERAL attachment is particularly suitable for applications on unilateral prostheses with shock-absorbing characteristics.
It can also be used in cases of bilateral prosthesis.
The OT UNILATERAL has an exclusive design and is composed of two spheres, a Ot Cap Micro diameter 1.8 mm. and an Ot Strategy The male part
The attachment is constructed with a vertical strut that extends through the base of the attachment to give lateral stability and support
distal to the prosthesis. The Un iBox, female component, is castable, after casting it constitutes the housing of the elastic matrices and
a small reinforcement incorporated into the acrylic resin part.
The two parts of this device, the attachment and the Uni Box container, can be reproduced in metal with a single casting, saving time and material costs.
