D-bar is a device that offers a quick and effective solution for Class II malocclusions in patients with primary, permanent or mixed dentition.
Preferably used at the beginning of treatment for the distalization of molars and premolars.
D-bar can be used alone or in combination with other devices
commercially available as aligners, brackets or other fixed orthodontic devices.
Placed on the lower arch, D-bar also helps in the treatment of Class III .
Advantages
- Control of canine-molar block movements . For greater treatment effectiveness, the interconnection system has been designed to create a system of constraints that minimize canine movements independent of those of the molar and unwanted interarch movements.

Characteristics
D-bar is universal, and is composed of two components , a molar support and a bar, supplied unassembled.
If necessary, it is possible to easily replace just the bar or, if clinical conditions require it, change its size during therapy. This feature makes it flexible to use.
