Reactibable Leaf Expander Leone
This device, an evolution of the previous spring-activated expander designed in technical-scientific collaboration with Dr. Claudio Lanteri and Mr. Filippo Francolini, has a reduced body size and, thanks to the MEMORIA® nickel-titanium leaf springs, releases calibrated and constant forces to achieve maxillary expansion. The need for reactivation is evident when the opposing leaf springs are visibly separated:
intraoral activation, to be performed in the clinic, will bring the springs back into contact, allowing the release of the chosen force. The expander is available in two models, 450 gr and 900 gr respectively, and each of these comes in two expansion capacities: 6 and 9 mm. It is supplied with the leaf springs, which can be two or three depending on the chosen size, already compressed by two metal clips that the technician must remove after constructing the appliance.
The package includes a special clip to keep the leaf springs compressed, assisting the technician and clinician in specific stages of construction and treatment. The package also contains
practical instructions illustrating all construction phases and
delivery methods to the clinician.
Supplied with an articulated key with a handle to facilitate professional intraoral activation.
