This universal sandblaster is a combination of a recycling sandblaster and a micro-sandblaster. Thanks to its compact design and multi-functionality, it is an ideal device for small and medium-sized laboratories. This affordable device allows for all typical sandblasting tasks in a dental laboratory.

In many laboratories, sandblasting treatments are often performed on precious metals as well as on partial dentures. However, for small and medium-sized laboratories, the purchase of two machines – one for micro-sandblasting and one for coarse blasting – is often not cost-effective. The utilization rate is too low. Nevertheless, since each of the two techniques offers particular advantages, many laboratories do not want to give them up.
With the Vario basic, Renfert has succeeded in combining the best of both worlds. All typical sandblasting treatments in dental practice can be performed with one machine. The advantages of Renfert's micro-sandblasting technique are combined with those of recycling sandblasting in a single device, with minimal footprint. With its multi-functionality combined with its compact design and affordable price, the Vario basic becomes the ideal long-term partner for small and medium-sized laboratories.
For coarse blasting (e.g. partial dentures)

The micro-sandblasting tanks (optional)
- The basic version can be easily equipped with four additional micro-sandblasting tanks of the desired grit size, without the need for tools.
- Thanks to the transparent tanks, the filling level of the tanks can be checked at any time.
- The large tanks have a maximum capacity of approx. 1000 ml of abrasive.

- The controls, tank selector, and dust-tight pressure regulator are located inside the sandblasting cabinet.

The abrasive tank
- A removable coarse particle separator prevents contamination of the abrasive.
- The large funnel-shaped tank ensures a permanent flow of abrasive.
- The Vario basic can be emptied through an opening at the bottom of the tank.
- The suction nozzle is fixed in the center of the tank.
The suction technique
- 50% reduced abrasive consumption thanks to an intelligent suction system.
- A pre-separator serves to remove only unusable fine dust.
The connections
- An additional pneumatic device, e.g. a mobile micro-sandblaster, a chisel, or an air syringe, can be connected to the Vario basic.
- A regulator with a filter and manual water separator purifies the incoming compressed air.
Can be used as a benchtop or wall-mounted device
- With an easy-to-use optional bracket, the Vario basic can be wall-mounted (with only two tanks).
- To optimize the vacuum cleaner connection when space is limited, an optional 90° elbow pipe is available (available alone or together with the wall bracket).

Technical details
Micro-sandblasting tanks are not part of the basic equipment of the Vario basic. However, the device can be expanded with up to 4 micro-sandblasting tanks.
